A Workshop on Hellenic Reconstructionism and Traditional Ritual

Happening in Mayport, PA 16240
(just north of Pittsburgh)

The leader of the Hellenion Proto-Demos tes Hagnes Persephones will lead a workshop on Hellenic Reconstructionism. She will explain the various methods that the ancient Greeks used to worship their deities, and provide ways for adapting these practices into rituals for modern-day pagans.

Following the workshop she will lead participants in a traditional ritual for the ancient Greek holiday known as Skirophória. This particular ritual will honor Athena, Poseidon, Apollon, and Demeter. Please feel free to bring any offerings you'd like to give to the deities, such as incense, flowers, food, libations, etc.
